In Danish, it means poop. Today it is more commonly used to mean "babe" or "sweetheart". PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS WORD! It simply reflects how non-creative you are. Either call them a name of adoration (honey, sweetheart, etc.) or better yet, just call them their real name.
