Law of Textivity

Rule whereby the time to reply to someone's text must be greater than or equal to the time it took for them to reply to your prior text.

John was doing great with that girl he met Friday night until he showed how eager he was by breaking the Law of Textivity. She took days to reply to his text and he writes back immediately. Amateur move.

Older brother: Thanks for a great night! See you soon.
Younger brother: Sounds good, keep me texted. Do you want to play some Mario Kart online later tonight?
Older brother: Maybe, I'll keep you texted!
Younger brother: Yeah, keep me texted!

Texter's Remorse

The feeling that ultimately overcomes oneself upon sending a text message and either; writing the wrong thing, sending it to the wrong person, or forgetting something, knowing that you cannot now take it back. Usually ends in grief that you now have to send more messages to take back your original or add to it.

Occurrences range from the subtle to the major that may alter the conversation.

text: hey rachael ill be there around 7

(received)text: who the hell is rachael!?

text: oh sorry honey its uhh no one.

Someone who, when texting, loses their sense of direction, speed and/or the ability to hold intellegent conversation.

Bipolar Texter

An individual who will suddenly, mid-conversation stop responding to you via text. Or, an individual who has reckless emotional swings through text message.

Jamie: "Hey Steve did you talk to Chelsea last night.
Steve: "Yeah dude shes such a Bipolar Texter"
Jamie: "Yep, she does that to everyone"
