When someone is thinking the same thing as you, and you jinx them for it. Regular jinxing rules apply in that the person must remain silent until you say their name.

Person 1: "That was the worst movie ever!"

Person 2: "Mental Jinx!"

Originally started as a curse or form of bad luck but nowadays is referred to “saying it was going to happen” before it did

1)Josh: We going to be late !!
Alex: If you we leave right now we’ll be at the party by 9:30
*Shows up exactly at 9:30*
Josh: you jinxed it bro

2) “I hope we don’t get pulled over today because I don’t got a driver license “
*Proceeds to get pulled over that day and gets a ticket*
“I just damn jinxed myself”

Jinx California

Typically, 2 or more people will say the same word, phrase, sentence, etc. and then proceed to say "jinx" and count from 1 to 10. To save time, you can say "jinx california" because they already have 10 letters. The rules in regular jinx still apply here. Just that you can add "california" to the end of jinx to beat the person you've said the same word, phrase, sentence, etc. with.

"Shut up."
"Shut up."

"Jinx California! (skip counting 1 to 10 out loud)"

Half-Jinx

Half-Jinx has the same rules as a normal jinx (saying the same word/sentence with another person and you tell “JINX”), except for this scenario a “Half-Jinx” counts towards phrases with the same idea/meaning rather than exact wording.

Person A: This is dumb
Person B: This is stupid

Person A and B: HALF-JINX
