Reffering to when the screen of your iphone jams then slowly fades to black. It can take several minutes to turn back on and is really annoying. One of the many bugs of ios7 or higher.

Waiting for them to get killed and then you neutralize your fallen allies killer(s). In this Act you will know know an an enemies precise location and the enemy will most likely be re-loading when you open fire on them.
