The process of utterly obliterating an opponent's entire (usually religious or political) argument, usually in one or more succinct or terse statements, orally or in writing; employed almost exclusively by Christopher Hitchens.
Examples can be found in nearly every Hitchens debate, occasionally in articles, and in the form of entire books, about subjects or people.

Christopher Hitchen's book God Is Not Great was effectively one long Hitchslap to organized religion.
About twenty minutes into the debate Dinesh d'Souza got Hitchslapped and never really recovered from it.
Hitchens was a guest in a Fox News segment the other day. He Hitchslapped just about everyone on there.
It was funny the other day when Sean Hannity invited Hitchens on the show and tried to be a smartass, but was abruptly Hitchslapped for his trouble.

Get the Hitchslap mug.A person can't discuss the virtues of water boarding in the press or on TV until they themselves have been water boarded. Named after the late journalist Christopher Hitchens who had himself water boarded to experience the torture method so that he could discuss it with better insight.
A person would invoke the Hitchens Rule in social media when someone who has not been the subject of water boarding, begins to describe it in glowing terms, or that the act is not actually torture.

Get the Hatchin' Eggs mug.A term for Escape from Tarkov players that don't bring any gear in to a raid, playing the game with no risk and reaping all the rewards. The term arose from these players wielding only a tomahawk, a weapon not lost upon death. Usually fast little fuckers that sprint to high loot areas like Kiba or key spawns, robbing players with big dick energy of valuable loot. They communicate in wiggles and expect not to be shot at. They sure do make great target practice though!
Remember - every hatchling left alive is just another geared dude that'll try and clap you.

Get the Hiachi mug.Hichigo is a character from an Anime called Bleach. He is Ichigo Kurosaki's enemy, yet himself, just black and white. His eyes are a golden color, skin white, and hair as well, is white, along with black nails. Hichigo is an entity created by Ichigo Kurosaki during the 'Hollowfication' as a Plus. He has his name from Ichigo. Just the H was added to it meaning 'Hollow Ichigo' or 'The Hollow within Ichigo's conscience' or 'White Ichigo'. Hichigo's most distinguishing features are his maniacal laughter and psychotic grins. He is brutal, arrogant, disrespectful, and sadistic. his only reason for existence is to take over Ichigo's power and body to use it to kill everything and anything he sees. He taunts Ichigo as being a weak and unsuitable counterpart of himself, though he relishes the idea of taking Ichigo's powers for himself. He also protects Ichigo's body when he is about to die, because if Ichigo died, he would too. He also seems to respect Zangetsu's spirit to a certain extent. Hollow Ichigo has declared that Ichigo is the "king" of the inner world and he is the "horse." Hollow Ichigo wishes to "take the crown" from Ichigo so he can have control over the body and become the dominant personality. After his loss, he states he's willing to allow Ichigo to keep the crown for now, but once Ichigo "screws up again," he declared he'd make his move again.
These two are sometimes found in Yaio's(Or guyXguy). Hichigo is found to be seme as Ichigo is more of the uke-ish type.

(From Hichigo to Byakuya) "Who am I? I have no name!"
(From Hichigo to Ichigo) "'I'm going to keep getting closer and closer to you. And not just day after day, oh no. It's going to happen much faster than that! See I'm already closer to you than I was a moment ago. And I'll keep getting closer and closer to you, until I swallow you up and then, you'll disappear. Things are not turning out well for you at all, are they? (laughs) See you around."
(Hichigo to Ichigo) "Ichigo, what's the difference between a king and his horse? I don't mean kiddy shit like "One's a person and one's an animal" or "One has two legs and one has four." If their form, ability and power were exactly the same, why is it that one becomes the king and controls the battle, while the other becomes the horse and carries the king?! There's only one answer. Instinct! In order for identical beings to get stronger and gain the power they need to become king, they must search for more battles and power! They thirst for battle, and live to mercilessly, crush, shred, and slice their enemies! Deep, deep within our body lies the honed instinct to kill, and slaughter our enemies! But you don't have that! You don't have those pure, base instincts! You fight with your brain. You try to defeat your enemies with logic! And it doesn't work! You're trying to cut them with a sheathed sword! That's why you're weaker than me, Ichigo!"
