Sea Cliff

A town on Long Island where most of the locals roll through stop signs and give you nasty looks when you have the right of way. They pay absolutely no attention to the reason a stop sign is there. They barely even slow down. If you have made a complete stop and start hitting the gas to continue on and a "local" comes rolling up to an adjacent stop sign, please beware. They won't even look around. They only look straight in front of them and seem to lack peripheral vision. You, like most people, will probably expect them to stop and wait their turn. You would be wrong if you were in Sea Cliff. No, instead the local driver will continue on and look at you like you are crazy and an A-hole. Don't believe it, go to Sea Cliff, NY. Drive around. Especially around Sea Cliff Ave.

I was driving in Sea Cliff today and I was almost hit by a local driver when he/she blew a stop sign. The worst part was that he/she looked at me like I did something wrong and should be ashamed of myself.

Cliff

A name for a guy who is solid yet can go just to the edge. Solid ideals and morals but likes to push himself and others just to "the edge" of fun, passion, excitement, sex, etc. Constantly has his foot on "the line" of no return but always finds his way back! Not afraid to show his emotions and doesn't try to hide them. A man among men. A friend among friends.

Girl: I went out with that guy Cliff!
Friend: How was it?
Girl: OMG! I thought he was meek and mild-mannered. But what a crazy guy. He acts half his age, kept me laughing all night and in bed I thought I was gonna die!
Friend: So are you seeing him again?
Girl: Well, like, Yeah!!!

When your reading/watching a book, movie or something and at an amazing or cool part and you have to stop for what ever reason (too tired to go on, not enough time etc.) so your left "hanging" on the "cliff"

Book: "The thief who stole the thing was.."

You: " Oh crap its 5pm I got to go do something what a cliffhanger."

Cliffwood Beach

Once a very popular New Jersey shore sight. Back in the 1960's it was more popular than Point Pleasant or Point Pleasant Beach New Jersey. In the Mid 1960's a huge hurricane totally wrecked the beach. Tore away most of its shoreline, tore away its boardwalk and amuesment park. Like Asbury Park, its now forgotten. No one goes there, unless the want to be by themselves or go to the park. And at night its where alot of people smoke and deal drugs.

The Boardwalk used to connect to Laurence Harbor and Keyport. The Boardwalk used to reach all the way to Sandy Hook.

There was talk of bringing back this forgotten town.

Person One: Where do you live.
Person Two: Cliffwood Beach.
Person One: Where!?!?
Person Two: You knows its by Laurence Harbor, Keyport, Union Beach and Keansburg.
Person One: Nope, Never heard of Cliffwood Beach.
Person Two: Dude, its part of Aberdeen and Old Bridge!
