gang or die

Engaging in a risky action that could result in a great success (gang) or a serious consequence (die). Examples of gang or die actions include asking a girl on a first date, slide tackling in the box in soccer, or passing in the shoulder.

This term can also be used colloquially in other ways, such as "going gang" or simply "gang". People can also be defined as gang or die individuals.

Guy 1: Hey I heard you asked out Samantha.
Guy 2: Yeah I did!
1: Wow, that's a gang or die move. What did she say?
2: She said yes!
1: Gang! That's awesome
