There are many reasons W is so bad, for example, W is the only letter that has more than one syllable.

It is also the only letter that, if spelled phonetically, does NOT include itself.
But the most absolutely egregious thing about the letter W, is that not even a double U! In a large majority of fonts it's a double V!

look: W = VV They look the SAME.

However double U looks like: W ≠ UU NOT the same thing.
