No Concert Depression

Unlike PCD, ncd is the anxiety and emptiness from feeling like you will never get to see your faves live in concert ever.

Person 1: Yo why is she so sad today?
Person 2: Her faves are enlisting soon and she feels like she'll never get to see and hear them play all her favorite songs in concert. She has No Concert Depression.
Person 1: Oh, how sad

Depression

Depression is when you can do so much yet never achieve your goal. You watch others move on in life while you stand neck deep in pain and hate. Nothing ever goes your way, and if it does, it always ends in something you can only wish you could forget. You formulate personalities of yourself that work to batter your soul until you can’t breathe. The only relinquishing thought is of death. You look up to the top of a building and wonder how simple it would be to climb up and jump. You ask yourself how many people would care. How many people would notice. The world would keep turning without you, so why shouldn’t you? You listen to music, tuning out the world waiting for someone to notice your sadness and come talk to you. Yet no one comes and you wallow in your loneliness. You don’t have to be cutting your skin or tearing away flesh. You wear a fake smile when you walk by people. You eavesdrop on everyone because you want to think about something other than your sadness. If someone described you on the street they’d say that you seemed cheery. You drive those close to you far away. Through harsh words and actions you want to be alone, because you’ve been alone for a long time and you’re solidifying that in your mind. Destruction lies in your wake and you don’t care about consequences. You lose control over the smallest little problems. Violence is your tool because words don’t do the job anymore. You cry yourself to sleep at night and dream of a world without you.

Depression is not believed of as the worst thing one can endure. It is the worst thing one can endure.

Depression

When life has lost its meaning. A depressed person may be surrounded, but still feel horribly alone. Depression is emptiness, the point in life where you’ve lost sight of the light at the end of the tunnel. Or perhaps the only light you can see tells you that death is the answer, your ultimate escape. Depression is an illness, just as serious as any physical illnesses out there. And, like every other illness, it needs to be treated.

Person 1: i hate myself, I hate my mind, why can’t anyone see my depression?
Person 2: I’m here for you
