Get the Scandal Dragonmug. Created by Pete Holmes, comedian. While referencing a celebrity in a conversation for their popular unique quality, but not in relation to a current or past scandal, saying "scandal noted" acknowledges the issue, and avoids a tangent in the conversation.

Get the Trojan Horse Scandalmug. Created by comedian, Pete Holmes. A shortcut phrase to be used when referencing a celebrity, place, or event as an example for something other than a well known negative issue about it. The idea is to avoid the negative event being a distraction from the point of the statement or story. It also acknowledges that the speaker is aware of the scandal, so that discussion is not necessary.
It's true that he ran a lot of yardage this season, and that's impressive. It doesn't beat the record still held by O.J. Simpson, Scandal Noted, of the record for the single-season yards-per-game average at 143.1.

A scandalous event which occurred sometime during 2010 at a local Canadian athletic club in the capital region, in which an elderly man reportedly made offensive remarks to female club members of varying ages. Of notability was a remark made to an underage female (less than 18 years of age), whose parents later filed a formal complaint. Shortly thereafter the man was allegedly banned from the club, and the term "shadophile" was coined.

Get the Shadygate Scandalmug. It's interesting how almost 2 years ago, it was popular to accuse the Astros of cheating and everybody did it, and they became the scapegoat, discrediting their success, but now when just one team does it, the decision to accuse the Astros after their 5th in a row ALCS victory is ill-advised and unpopular, (which is a lot anybody that accuses them now being told to shut up about it already) making anybody who says anything about cheating the scapegoat, and discrediting any success they had against the Astros. 2 years can change a lot of things while nobdy is looking or paying attention.
The Astros cheating scandal went from being something popular to talk about 2 years and everybody was doing it, and the Astros weren't allowed to respond or stand up to the accusations, to now anybody accusing the Astros of cheating is not allowed to stand up to the Astros or say anything. It must have to do with the 50 million people can't be wrong mentality, either way. If that doesn't tell you the game is thrown and the system is rigged before it ever begins, then what does?
