A misspelled form of "parties". This term is often used by posers who take pictures of themselves in the same outfits in their own bathroom and pretend each one is from a different party in order to make their boring lives seem less lame.

The term is also used by pre-teen girls who have not yet realised that misspelling as you type is not cute.

Note: A regular party-goer knows how to spell "parties".

A term for basketball made by John Green of the Vlogbrothers. It was meant to explain basketball to nerds, inserting spheres into cylinders.

Similar to the word participation. but of a far, far lesser level.

Often awarded as a kind of "well done for being substandard" award, which no one really wants... but seems to get given anyway in today’s society.

I gave Lou a particaption award for her effort in Russian class the other day. I realised this was in fact a spelling mistake, but to be honest I couldn’t really be bothered to change it. Plus, I really don’t think she deserved the genuine thing. No one really wants one anyway; it’s like a slap in the face for being "special".

Particulous Adj. Par-tick-you-luss;

To be overly concerned with details that are of little consequence to anything except to the inner workings of the particulous person's own mind.

Bob is very Particulous. Bob is deeply concerned with the fact that one cylinder head on his BMW motorcycle is further forward than the other one. Bob is also deeply concerned by the asymmetric quantity of cooling fins on the left and right cylinders. This worry is exacerbating the idea that one foot might end up warmer than the other from the proximity of the cylinders to his feet, not to mention the differential in heat exchange from the swept area of the heat radiating surfaces.
