Get the Karenmug. A self-aware Karen (or unfortunate person with a Karen-vibe) attempting to reform from problematic Karen behavior so they act like the antithesis of a Karen by overcompensating and displaying over-the-top friendly behavior to people in the service industry in order to seem more relatable. They often coming off as inauthentic but their intentions aren’t necessarily bad.
This entitled-looking middle-aged white woman with an inverted bob haircut is obviously trying extremely hard to be relatable and liked by the manicurist. It’s hard to watch this Overcompensating Karen.
