Friend Hierarchy

When someone has lots of friends, they'll be a hierarchy going from bestie to last resort friend. The higher up you on the hierarchy the more events you'll be invited to secrets you'll be told.

Jess: Hey did Nat invite you to her birthday party?

Brenda: Nope, she told me I'm not high enough on the friend hierarchy. She's only inviting besties and close friends.

Brad: Shit did you hear Dan's engaged!
Carl:Yeah, can't believe he got his girlfriend pregnant!
Brad:Wait what?
Carl:Shit I wasn't supposed to tell you that, you're too low on the friend hierarchy.

Tim:Hey I heard you booked an escape room, can I come?
Kath: I'm sorry but there's very few spaces, only those at the top of the friend hierarchy are coming.

Tim: Ah ok, fair enough.

friends cleanse

The act of getting rid of a friend (be they virtual or actual) by deleting him/her from your life. This is usually achieved by removing said friend from either your virtual life (MySpace, Facebook, LiveJournal, etc.) or your actual life (Don't return calls or texts, ignore/delay emails, etc.) Basically a Friends Cleanse means 'eh, I don't want to deal with you anymore'.

Damn. I had like close to 130 people on my MySpace... but I had to do a Friends Cleanse. Too many people were posting bulletins and shit I wasn't even interested in.

Dude... I'm getting way too many calls/texts from XXX. Time for a mobile phone Friends Cleanse.

bad friend

A bad friend is someone who blows you off all the time, specifically four times in one weekend , and every weekend after that for a month. Also blows you off all the time for her unattractive boyfriend... copies everything you do, and steals your style. Trys to get with every guy you've talked to and dated. Even one you're in love with. Oh and might I add, never texts you first or calls you, claiming she's too busy, when she's constanly updating her facebook status or tweeting. There is just some fantastic people in this world ...
