GREEN SHEET To give the subject charged with a crime his copy of the criminal complaint, as the defendant's copy is usually green in color. To place into protective police custody a subject unable to make medical decisions for himself.

There I was a six month newbie medic being told by Medical Control (a physician on the phone in the emergency room) to have the police officer on scene "green sheet" the guy and bring him in.
