Black Man

An improper word used to describe or call out Africans and other ethnicities with dark skin.

Jamal was walking down the street hoping to find a nearby KFC store. He however has forgotten that it is 1867 as segregation has been implemented among black's and other minorities. Jamal is currently in Alabama which is one of the many southern states that took the segregation law. Because of this he was forced to use fountains, toilets and stores specifically for black people. Jamal then realized that he was walking on the wrong sidewalk as the sidewalk he was on was for "white's only". A nearby police officer saw Jamal walking on the wrong sidewalk as the police officer gave him a ticket and referred to Jamal as a 'black man'.
