Loaf Land

Usually when in a clouded mind state and forgetting what you are doing by not responding or doing very stupid things. When smoking too much pot can lead a person into "loaf land" making them un-responsable when asked questions. Sitting at a computer in a opiate high is another example of being in 'loaf land'.
While playing Magic the Gathering 2v2:

Corey says:"Joe what are you doing... don't forget to counter his spell."
10 seconds later...
Joe says: "Don't worry bro."

Corey says: "DUDE WTF you didn't counter the spell. Are you loafing?"
Joe says: "Sorry bro..... (20 seconds later) I missed clicked".

Corey says: "Huh? we already lost."
Joe says: "I think I'm in loaf land bro."

That Plane Has to Land Sometime

The unaffordable expenses that occur after one arrives at a destination.
A wedding is being planned and the high a maintenance bride who is a stewardess and is reasoning with everyone that she wants the wedding to be in Hawaii. She explains that she can get very low cost flight tickets for everyone. Many in the two families want to go but are not that well off. Someone says "yes, but that plane has to land sometime." That means that the low cost flight tickets are appreciated but the huge expenses start once the plane has landed like taxi cabs or limos, motel rooms in Hawaii, tipping skycaps, cabs, luggage handlers, buying drinks at a renowned resort where prices are inflated, thus the idea of low cost flight tickets is irrelevant.

"That Plane" is a bit of a take on "those plans."

landed gentry

wealthy aristocrats (and/or nobles and/or merchants) living on manors and estates in the countryside and owning slaves (and maybe even state peasants or even serfs)
landed gentry, after mandatory military under Catherine The Great of Russia, retired to their estates to live like hedonist; this is part of the reason Russian society actually regressed to the point of revolution by 1917.

canaDAY land

Derived from the name Canada, canaDAY Land (Pronounced cah-nah-DAY Land) is coined originally as a derogatory term for Canada for their lack of global presence in wars and them being known for always being nice to people (dependent on area). The term itself, canaDAY Land, was created with meaning, where the "cana" was taken from Canada, the "DAY" was to signify how they are always nice and see the brightside of things, and "Land" is because this is just about as mythical as wonderland. Later the term was adopted and put into a more positive light by them (Canadians) saying they have less troubles and problems, and are overall peaceful, and it was no longer seen as a derogatory name (unless used within that context).
Positive Context:
person A "Dude, I'm sick of being here. I want something better. I'm going to Canada!"
Person B "Don't you mean, canaDAY land, Land of the awesome?"

Negative Context:
Person A "They don't do a damn thing, being little scared wimps!"
Person B "That's canaDAY Land for ya!"
