A cyber attack that is done through a vulnerability in a software application that the developer of the software is unaware of and is first discovered by the hacker. The term is used to mean that the software developer had zero days to work on a patch to fix an exploit before the exploit was used. One of the most common applications to have a zero day exploit is a web browser.
John: All the data on my computer was destroyed by a virus.
Bill: Yeah you need to be very careful when you download porn.
John: No, I heard it was done through a zero day exploit on Internet Explorer.
Bill: Oh I see. But why are you using Internet Exploder? Everybody knows that's a piece of shit browser.
person 1) how was your day person 2) ah boring, you know another day at the office
person 1) but you don't work at an office, but a warehouse
person 2) it's a new expression for "same shit, different day".
Bones day / No bones day originated from tik-tok. It works kind of like a weather forecast. The forecast works the way that @jongraz on tik-tok tries to sit up the pug noodles in the morning. If he collapsed it's a no bones day, if he doesn't it's a bones day. A bones day is meant to be a positive day that great stuff is gonna happen on, and a no bones day is a day where you might wanna stay in bed drinking whiskey.
"It's a bones day today! Great stuff is gonna happen!" or as used to start a briefing in the pentagon: "I don't know whether there's a bones or a no bones day, so let's get the meeting started and hope for the best."
