To go without footwear in a place where society would normally require shoes or some other protection, such as the grocery store or college lecture hall. Named after musician Michael Franti, who does not wear any footwear.
It was just too hot outside so I decided to pull a Franti on my way to buy ice.

Pulled a Ferris

Answering the phone in fashion that would lead the caller to believe one is exteremly sick or exhuasted. Rooted from when Ferris answers the phone call from his father, and must convince him he is in fact sick enough to have the day off.
Leigh really didn't want to talk to Rachael, so when she called, Leigh pulled a Ferris on her, and Rachael was convinced she was dying.
