Race Flexing

Using your race or ethnicity to try and appear superior to someone else of a different race even though you personally did not create the accomplishments or do not posses the abilities to do so.

Jonbob was race flexing when he mentioned that white people had better artwork, leaving the assumption that he could create better art, even though he is not an artist.

Shofia was race flexing when she boasted about her cultural food being better than white or black people's, although she cannot cook herself.

A man who refers to himself as an eater solely identifies as bisexual for self benefit or financial progress

Bi-Flexual

A straight-presenting person who “bends the truth” about being bisexual only when it’s trendy, sexy, or convenient like during interviews, songs, or Pride Month but refuses to acknowledge or represent the community otherwise.

She called herself bi on stage and straight backstage? That’s a full-blown Bi-Flexual.

Ghost Flexing

Definition: When someone ignores your messages for days, then posts something impressive on social media to remind you they’re "still winning."

Example:
"He didn’t reply for a week but just posted a gym selfie with a Lambo in the back—classic ghost flexing."

Trauma flexing

The act of bragging, recounting, one-upping, about a traumatic life event - physical (i.e. road rash, bad cramps, etc.), medical emergency (anything from a splinter to a widowmaker heart attack), mental health related (“The cheese slid off my cracker in 20__”), major life event (someone you loved croaked or croaked themselves), or emotionally inflicted (from a breakup to being gang raped by a whole Archdiocese of priests and nuns), even bemoaning one’s racial plight and/or difficulties associated with their sexuality/gender identification/you-name-it.

It is simply a ploy to garner sympathy and attention, perhaps intersectional leverage. Quite an effective strategic tool.

(Ned): “Did I tell you that I endured four weeks of chest pains before I had my heart attack, stroke, and Exploding Colon Syndrome?”
(Jacques): “Ya. Fifteen times since Juneteeenth. Maybe get checked for the ‘heimers, too. And quit with the trauma flexing. It pisses off everyone and makes me uncomfortable, you dong.”

Silent Flexing

When someone doesn’t brag, doesn’t show off, doesn’t even try, but still ends up making everyone else feel under-leveled just by existing. It’s the kind of natural aura that says, “I’m not trying to impress you… But you’re impressed anyway.”
