Upon delivery of a major project, you are met with, "it's fine." Make no mistake, this is not a sign-off, which would bring "good work" in tow. The Fineoff is a pillar of top-shelf toxic management, where quality is job number 7. But beware, the Fineoff is a harbinger of stormy weather - since the boss didn't take the time to look the first time, they may come back later to say it was wrong.
