These consumers often pay a premium to display a whorebadge on their body or property to identify their connection with a particular social class. A wearer of a Patagonia whorebadge likely previously proudly displayed a TNF whorebadge. While the Patagonia and TNF whorebadge wearers are still of the same tribe, the Patagonia wearer is in a higher caste and will feel pity for the TNF wearer until TNF whorebadges are discarded and replaced with Patagonia whorebadges. Both of the above feel disdain or disgust for any human who chooses to display a Columbia Sportswear whorebadge.
