Couple Crush

When a couple (straight or gay) has a platonic "crush" on another couple, not sexual but idolizing them. Oftentimes, the "crushed upon" couple is older and has a little more life experience than the "crushing" couple. They are usually seen as mentors or the type of couple the "crushing" couple aspires to be.

"We went to dinner last night with Rebecca and Jon -- they are so cool and fun, I hope Kevin and I turn out just like them in 10 years!"

"OMG, Laney, you and Kevin have such a Couple Crush on Rebecca and Jon!"

A couple who seems to have a fairy tale romance. Also, both parties involved in the power couple have tremendous influence over people around them because of their devastating good looks* and seemingly perfect relationship with their significant other.

*the most common type of power couple is between a male athlete and an actress and/or singer.

Kevin: Dude, get a load of David Beckham and Posh Spice. They are the epitome of a power couple. They have a tremendous influence over me because of their devastating good looks and seemingly perfect relationship.

When two individuals have a relationship in which they are constantly looking to improve on each other. They don't take offense to their partners critiquing of there appearance or actions. They're main focus in life is improving themselves as a couple. They put their relationship before everything and strive for perfection. Never letting the other fall behind.
