To be used as an exclamation of a noteworthy, celebratory, achievement, or other positive event. The volume, intensity and non-verbal cues used can be indexed to identify the level of accomplishment.

Example 1: two friends talking
Friend 1: man I've got great news: I've got a girlfriend now!
Friend 2: "jumps up from seated position, arms thrown in air, loudly yells" "BIG UPS!!!"

Example 2: waiting on a notification for food delivery

Food orderer: "alright food is on its way"
Hungry friend: "good deal. Big ups" ( not yelled loudly, the friend's tone or voice is at a normal conversation volume

A Big Asshole

Someone who is such an asshole to you all the time. This person is usually froggy in the morning especially after getting his nipples touched by a below average mechanic and operator. This person will retaliate by punching you in the gut or rearranging your toolbox for almost no reason. This person will completely shun you and ignore you if you try to ask to help them on their project. This person responds very negativity to being asked if they are learning anything or if they remember how something goes back together. This person will team up with the boss to get you to do extra chores for example clean the break room. This person will harass you for being weak when you cant break a "REALLY" tight bolt. This person will never give you a peaceful day even if you are not "feeling good" that day. Overall this person is just A BIG ASSHOLE
