Vicious cycle

An overrated, half-assed band with an overused, half-assed name. The band has existed for 32 years probably and enjoys having it's many fan, Cory, in the Portland\vancouver metro area. The band was made famous after coming up with their most original album idea yet: sex robots. A fully functional sexbot was built for a local show, but after wandering away from the venue it was found with two women, knee deep in a swamp of passion and a bucket of chicken. When they can't be found shredding the ears off the folks at the 40 et 8 BINGO hall, they can be found in someone's garage shredding the established idea of decent music.

-"Hey, have you heard that awesome band vicious cycle!?"

-"No."

Visit from the tooth fairy

A threat for surprise retribution at a later date for an earlier transgression that usually results in the instigator missing teeth. Similar threats include "watch your back" or "you'll get yours". The notion of the saying is that retribution will happen suddenly when the instigator least expects it, such as sleeping and their teeth are placed under their pillow. The saying is otherwise used broadly to mean any level of revenge.

Someone does another person wrong or victimizes them, the victim may say "Watch yourself! You're gonna get a visit from the tooth fairy!"

Or used to dispel concern by others that retribution is going to be made "They're gonna see the tooth fairy, don't worry about it."

Are YouTube video where they react to battle for dream Island, which is a web series you should search up and watch, but their face takes up too much of the thumbnail, and they make a really ugly and poorly sated face, and it is very clear that this is their first time watching battle for dream Island, they also keep mentioning battle for dream Island as a web series that is online made in 2010, which they read from Google or something.

Visible Sciences

The study of phenomena that can be directly observed with the naked eye or ordinary instruments—the sciences of the manifest world. Visible sciences include classical physics (falling apples, rolling balls), macroscopic biology (plants growing, animals moving), and most of chemistry as practiced in high school labs (color changes, precipitates, exciting explosions). These sciences are accessible, intuitive, and form the foundation of our understanding of reality. They're also increasingly a small slice of what science actually studies—most of reality is invisible, and visible sciences now serve mainly as entry points to deeper, less visible truths. Visible sciences are what your grandmother thinks science is; invisible sciences are what scientists actually do.

Example: "He loved visible sciences because he could see what was happening—balls rolling down inclined planes, chemicals changing color, plants growing toward light. When he got to quantum mechanics, he struggled because nothing was visible anymore. He missed the simple days when science looked like science."
