Kennolyn Camps

Kennolyn is a camp where you get to make new friends, learn new activities and even sleep out in the open. At Kennolyn, you can choose a one week or a two week session, or you can stay over in between. You wake up at 7:30 in the morning and depending on whether you are a hawk (6th grade and below) or an eagle (7th - 9th grade) you get to go to first breakfast. There are so many specialty programs like the Equestrian Specialty where you spend your whole day with horses, there’s the Surfing Specialty where you go catch some waves, there’s a Culinary Specialty where you cook amazing food and even go to famous kitchens, and so much more. So many of the counsellors at Kennolyn used to be campers and completed the whole training program, some counsellors come for their first time, and some counsellors come all the way for half way across the world. At camp, you will always feel welcome and no one judges you, you are allowed to be yourself and express your feelings. Kennolyn was also the first co ed camp in California, named after the founders two children Carolyn and Ken.

A "Hoity Toity" term for getting shit faced drunk on wine in the woods!

For example a business professional may tell his colleagues that he is going wine camping this weekend because it sounds more refined and cultured, instead of "I have been so stressed that I am going to pack my car with wine, drive into the woods, drink it all and commune with nature in my plastered state".

spring mill bible camp

Spring Mill Bible Camp is a camp in Mitchell, Indiana where you can learn more about God while spending time with your friends. It includes devotionals, singing, and GaGa ball (a game opposite of soccer). Plus other fun things including Catch the counselor, swimming with the same gender, and going to the Spring Mill State Park (We you can go visit the caves, the village, and waterfall). SMBC (for short) is a fun summer thing that is a week long and will leave you with a bunch of friends and wanting more.

Spring Mill Bible Camp is so much fun.
