hashtag word salad

When someone on social media wants to say something, especially in politics on Facebook and Twitter, but doesn't know enough to make a reasonable argument, s/he will often string a few words together followed by five or six hashtags, believing that they've won the argument.

"Hillary is the most corrupt politician everrrrr. #feelthebern #bernieorbust #birdiesanders #hillno"

If that hashtag word salad is the best you can do, you've lost the argument.

A term used when reminiscing about the good ole days about smoking hash and how the new generation don't know shit about what life used to be like.

These kids using these hashtags on the interweb, we had the original hashtags when the blades would slip apart and hashtag our damn faces.

hashtag rage

When someone expresses their distaste all over your social media, regarding a hashtag you have used which they disagree upon. Usually used by someone trying to show off their brainpower, except that they end up looking like a douchebag.

Example posted on instagram "#foodporn, #cloudporn, why is everything porn these days? Why not just #lifeporn and be done with it?? What happens when we get to #pornporn??" Why is my friend saying these things about my photo?

"Man, he's just expressing his hashtag rage".

A coercive group that sets up a fluid system of indoctrination by operating using hashtags and keywords on the internet. This word was invented by Mike Fallek and the Hashtag Cult Podcast's investigation of MGTOW

I just saw that word from that post is coded language from a red pill group, MGTOW must be a hashtag cult.
