Started in a high school in Arizona, where there was a girl who just had nubs for arms. We called her "nubs". The word became popular in our group for something lame and failing at life.

A general idiot who seldom acts their age, often said to be cute due to their lack of intelligence and/or maturity. A childish person who can be found obsessing over dumb games and generally living in an oblivious state, but is so lovable that their flaws are easily overlooked
