Teams don't surrender points, and logos/symbols of a team were created by people trying to market the team, which is why pretentious people make comparisons to other events, and other people don't think that way.
Pretentious people try to make a sports game more than a sports game, when really the world doesn't revolve around sports, even for sports fans.
