A portfolio cowboy is a designer who is focussed on creating work for their own design portfolio above all else.
This mostly involves designers who don't follow appropriate guidelines or business requirements if they feel it limits their design. To be able to acheive the design they want, they push the boundaries of those guidelines, or break them all togther. Their work can look very good, but often doesn't achieve the desired goals of the project and can introduce other problems and/or inconsistencies in an overall design system.

A term for a coding project where there is no design, no unit testing, no fancy buttons, just working code. It might be a little rough around the edges, but it gets the job done. Prevalent in a hackathon setting, for small idie projects, or programmers who couldn't give a fuck.

A very rare aesthetic mostly populated by girlbosses, malewives, twinks and beta-cucks. The clothing is twink-ish but with a twist, usually mixing in something like a cowboy hat or boots. The music is either mitski or dad metal. The humor/dialect is probably something you would die laughing at or disappointing. Most people in the Cowboy Core aesthetic can be considered as "submissive and breedable.".
