Slide for

Slide for someone (or sliding for someone) is when you fight for someone who is dead and try to avenge them. Mostly popularized by the meme “Slide for Von” made by fans of Lil Durk, who want him to avenge fellow rapper King Von with whom he was in the same gang with (Black Disciples). Typically heard in African-American circles or urban gangs.

Jay: “Yo, you heard that one of Ty’s homies was shot while he was walking down the street?”
Bryen: “Man, again? That lil nigga needs to step up and slide for his partnas on god. This the third time this month!”
