Metis Nation Status

Metis nation of Ontario offered provincial "status" membership cards which the website refers to as Metis "citizenship" ( of Ontario).

The constitutionally of these provincial "citizenship's" are questionable, as is "dual" citizenship with the provincial ce of Ontario and national citizenship.

Metis nation status of Ontario is not necessarily direct aboriginal ancestors but association with Metis community in Ontario.
