Oak Bay

A municipality located in Greater Victoria BC. Oak Bay has made it their mission to deny housing to as many people as possible through the use of exclusionary zoning, and bylaws. Despite containing half of UVIC and being located a mere 3km from Downtown Victoria, Oak Bay has spent 15 years talking about legalizing basement suites, and has managed to enter population decline in a region with a housing crisis. Unwilling to grow its tax base, Oak Bay is facing debt to maintain basic infrastructure. Be prepared for entitled rich, mildly racist, WASPy, NIMBY views from local residents. Willows Beach is nice though.

The bay school

A school where everyone’s so ridiculously nice and kind it feels fake but then you realize it’s real. When you walk in time stops and the world may be burning but you can finally be free. Not to mention the Baygels are exquisite. Bay is the bittersweet feeling of having something awesome but also realizing it’s only four years.

You go to bay, what is the bay school on? You all are happy about going to school what the fuck?

Idk maybe meditation works or the people care or something? Who knows tbh? Nun ya nuns are good at teaching about racism I guess :( oh well .
