A term that is used to describe a band that was or is on the cusp of Heavy Metal/Hard Rock but can not be clearly defined either way.

Person A: Black Sabbath was the first metal band.

Person B: yeah but don't forget about those Fringe Metal bands like, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Cream.

Fringe faggot

A fringe faggot (alternate spelling: fagit) is a radical extension of the homosexual community. A fringe faggot is comparable to ISIS or Al Qaeda in it's radical misrepresentations of the community as a whole. Frequently they are recruited on the Internet (you know like a terrorist) via forums such as /r/spacedicks.
