Comment-Message

When someone types what should have been a message or email in a comment on a public board (example: facebook).

(Status)Nate: Just added my photos of the ski trip!

(Comment)Sarah: Cool pics! Wish I could have gone!

(Comment)James: Hey Kevin! I haven't talked to you in awhile but it looks like you are having fun. I saw the pictures of your ski trip just now. Which resort did you end up going to? I remember the last time we went skiing and got fking drunk off of that Peach 20/20! What a blast. Good times, good times. Hey what are you doing this weekend? My girlfriend is going to be in town for the week, and wants to know if the three of us can go out to eat maybe? If you can, how about Friday sometime around 6:30-ish? Just let me know. Hey are you still going out with that Sarah chick? What a b%$ch! Don't invite her to come along this time k? Well I gotta to feed dog I'll catch you later. =P

commercial comfort

Ancient CB* term from the late 1970's meaning "prostitute in area." Experienced prostitutes would travel three-or-four to a car equiped with a CB radio and/or police scanner and cruise truck stops at night. During the height of the CB craze in America, some truckers would stay-up all night on their CB's talking and jabbering in their strange CB codes. The prostitutes would cut-in on the conversations announcing "commercial comfort" had arrived. This would then be followed by hand signals or flashed headlights indicating who their next "customer" was.

The term "commercial comfort" was last heard on the dying CB airwaves as late as 1998, just prior to affordable cell' 'phone plans and the Internet took over.

Commentersation

A conversation held on the comments section of someones myspace/ facebook/etc.. Does not necessarily have to involve the person who owns the page.

'Did you see the commentersation I had with Martha on John's Facebook status? Things got pretty heated but she shut her yap when I said her opinions remind me a lot of Hitler's.'
