Being a tube snob generally is wrong, as there are good SS and modelling amps such as the Line 6 Vetta or Flextone. Most of them are un-informed about good SS/Modelling amps, and base their opinon on terrible SS/Modelling amps.
Very annoying to argue with, as they always think they're right.

Jack went to Guitar Center, and tried the Line 6 Vetta. He liked it.

Get the tube snobmug. A fan of Apple Macintosh computers who feels the brand is superior to PCs. (Guess they SHOULD, given how much more they COST.) Can range from generally pleasant (Mac user)to absolutely insufferable (mactard).

Get the badge snobmug. Someone who looks down their nose on those more wealthy, simply because they are more wealthy. Inverted snobs staunchly refuse to recognise that their form of snobbery is every bit as superficial and silly as the other kind ... the only difference is, the inverted variety helps keep its adherents down on the bread line.
Don't expect to find Mary in one of the better pubs. She's an inverted snob. She'd rather have cheap beer and mould any day of the week.
