Cult-Following is used to describe anything with a fandom consisting of a small but dedicated group of Fans, It is usually used for things that are niche but popular within that niche. For pieces of media, they could also be described as Hidden Gems.
It's no wonder that this show has a Cult-Following with how well it melded mystery and comedy, too bad it won't reach anyone else with such a niche combination of genres.
