n. The senseless eradication of species due to human arrogance and stupidity.

Example 1. Although rainforests around the world are necessary for producing oxygen, as well as capturing vast quantities of CO2, in the quest for wealth and resources needless Extoition is occurring as the rainforests and their accompanying biodiversity are being wiped out globally.

Example 2. While first world countries enjoy the gluttony of cheap fast food and All-You-Can-Eat buffets, Extoition is occurring as millions of human beings starve to death on a daily basis around the world in impoverished countries, most notably on the African continent.
