the phrase ”that’s the vibe” cannot be used interchangeably with ”mood” or ”same.” it expresses a kinship with that person and a shared feeling that runs much deeper than ”mood.” ”that’s the vibe” may also be used to express a feeling that runs deep but is not related to kinship with another person.
person a: the night air makes me pine for a place i’ve never known, and will never be able to know.
person b: that’s the vibe, bro.
