People who use forms of manipulation to date others. Stereotypically, pick-me girls will try to put down other women, and act like they are one of the boys, while pick-me boys use self-deprication, and will praise women so they feel bad and date them.

Typically acts different around friends than around superiors, much like the pick me girl.
