Check the hands

A phrase meant to indicate that the apparently female subject of a photo or video might in fact be male, with large hands being the tell. It was invented in the Something Awful subforum "Laissez Faire" in 2009. It has since spread to several other online communities, including Badgame Dot Com.

Fiction Checking

Basically what stupid people want you to do when you question their obviously debunked arguments, demanding that you believe them without question. Also known as "Fact Checking"

Billy got angry when Alvin questioned his belief that fascism was right-wing, seeing many factors of it having socialist policies, deciding that Alvin should do some "Fact Checking" as he shouted "Mind doing some fact checking on that?!!" Getting angry, Alivin responded with "More like Fiction Checking."

zeroed a check

When one group or organization writes a check or pays money on behalf of another, usually unaffiliated group or organization, after which the original organization is reimbursed by the latter organization or group, essentially "zeroing" or canceling the balance exactly.

United Way of America zeroed a check for us to pay off the rental fees because we are unaffiliated with them.

1. Any place where whipped males check in their sex organs before being dragged into a romantic comedy, ie. "When Harry Met Sally", "You've Got Mail", "Hope Floats", "Made of Honor", etc. by their clingy girlfriends. 2. A coat check for testicles.

Dude: Stacy and I have tickets to an advance screening of the "Sex and the City" movie.

Friend: Wow. That's gonna hurt.

Dude: Not to worry. They have a scrote check at the theater so my balls won't go numb.

Speed Check

When a driver is trying to merge into the next lane, while the driver behind notices your indicator when you're trying to move in. The other driver aggressively accelerates to block the driver from merging in the first place. Also known as an aggressive driver move to scare the merging driver or denying entry.

This jerk speed checked me just as I was moving into the next lane.
