Get the base warsmug. A term heard mostly in northern California, used by all the potheads as slang for smoking pot. It's short for playing baseball.
a pipe is called a bat.

The name could have come about because it's America's Favorite Pastime, or because when smoking with a bunch of friends, when your turn comes, it's called your hit, same as it would be in the sport of baseball.
