It also throws off the birthday greeting count that Facebook provides.
I can't believe how many people don't know how to click on the Happy Birthday link on Facebook...they just leave a piggyback birthday greeting on someone's else's greeting that they have no relationship with. That's like signing someone else's birthday card!
