any entry put onto a forum/social network which is only understood by certain members/friends. it is only understood by these certain members due to a past experience or memory or the person posting and the included members and friends. it might be a direct hit on a certain person-member/friend or not-or a running inside joke between those involved.
basis for the post/entry may be for humor or as communication between select members/friends.
may also be used to put down a certain member. the post would be understood between the person posting and the targeted member only.
the post/entry may or may not have an alternative meaning or reference.
may also be used as code for communication or something illegal or otherwise not to be seen by all.
seriously?!

to all members seems to be a reference to a general statment related to the posters life or situation. but to those included on the inside post it is understood as a cut on a certain person and subsequent joke between them.

lemme ask you a question...
(same as seriously)

PTSD: Post-Tutor Scam Disorder

PTSD: Post-Tutor Scam Disorder — A term first coined by online class help expert, Jim O'Hara, that refers to the phenomenon that occurs whenever a student gets scammed online by someone claiming to be a "tutor," and now suddenly believes that ALL online tutors are scammers. Out of fear of being scammed again, students with "PTSD" force genuinely legitimate online tutors to go through completely arbitrary & convoluted nonsense to try to “prove” the tutor's legitimacy. However, because of the student's "PTSD," no matter how much concrete evidence the tutor provides bolstering their legitimacy, the student is still convinced the genuinely legitimate online tutor is just another scammer.
Jeez, this student that texted me got some serious PTSD: Post-Tutor Scam Disorder! Apparently, some foreign scammer from the Middle East claimed to be an expert in chemistry and tricked her into paying him upfront. Then he blocked her number and never heard from him again. Because of that, this student is making me jump through hoops to try to prove I'm not another scammer. It is complete BS that she's making me go through this nonsense when she totally didn't make that other guy do so before. But it's pointless, no matter how much proof I give her, her PTSD will still make her think I'm a scammer, so what's even the point of humoring her?

Post-Hardcore

Originally a broader, more experimental offshoot of Hardcore Punk, but closer under the umbrella of 'Indie-rock',it traces its roots back to the time of the Revolution Summer (1985) when bands such as Rites of Spring and Gray Matter helped establish this genre along with the then,barely-coined ''emocore'' (which is why today, people still like to say that Post-Hardcore is 'emo',even if they don't even know these bands).
Soon enough, more Post-Hardcore bands were formed, such as the highly influencal Fugazi,Nation of Ulysses,Jawbox and Shudder to Think.
Many bands took influence from the 'noise rock' sound from Sonic Youth and Big Black.

As the 90's approached,post-hardcore found its way to a wider audience, with Quicksand and Drive Like Jehu signing to major labels and Fugazi still influencing bands by the masses.
Then came Hot Water Music,Cursive, and Small Brown Bike.
More bands formed towards the end of the nineties including the highly energetic At The Drive-in,Thursday and the Blood Brothers.

It then became bad.Horrible bands with horrible pig snorted screaming were crawling their way onto the cover of Kerrang! Magazine.
Enter Shikari,Alesana,Silverstein,The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus,Hawthorne Heights and From First To Last were obsessed over by 13 year olds and marketed as 'emo'.
The only good thing left was Thursday.

Its sad really. What mainstream did to destroy Emo,Indie Rock,Post Hardcore,Screamo, and Pop punk...
Teacher : So,Freddie, tell us what music are you into?

Teacher : ???

WP : Its like kinda hardcore metal stuff with totally rad screaming.

Teacher : Hmmm....Sounds very underground!

WP : Yeh,only the cool skater emo people like me listen

Teacher : I'm Sorry??

P-HE : Dude you really need to learn the facts,Kerrang! is getting you brainwashed man, that screaming isn't rad it's unemotional and a headache!

postal service

A slightly inde band created by some members from DCFC (Death Cab for Cutie). Most notably known from thier work being featured in Garden State. Quite "film schooly" as a personal opinion, and certainly something different to listen to. Great to depart from the mainstream "music" that is fed to us through basic-cable "music channels".
Hey, I think this Postal Service song would fit great over this scene Im cutting for Film Theroy.

Lamp Post

A taunting word. Its suggestive, but it doesn't have a meaning other than a simple lamp post. Its used for fun, to see how far the oblivious member of the group can go with elaborating about "Lamp Posts".
Person 1: "Haha, thats a big lampost!"
Oblivious Person: "Yeah, I bet you do like that big lamp post! Get it? Get it? Eh...?"
