It is rap with rave music melodies... such as electro, house, and techno.. here is a quote on one of the founders : DON P
“I’ve always been a rave fan,” Don P explained. “We spent a lot of time in Germany and I really fell in love with the Rave s**t. A lot of my beats are Rave-based, but the thing is about what I do is that I add bass to it. So it’s a Rave sound, but the Hip-Hop comes with the bass and the snare. Basically it’s for all the people that work hard all day and who just like to let loose at the end of the day.”

Phrase created by stereotypical, nigga-hatin', punk-rock lovin, cracker-ass bitches who haven't heard true rap.
White guy: "Rap is crap."
Other guys: "You just say that because you haven't heard true rap." (puts in Mos Def)
White guy: "Ohh...Okay I change my mind."

Mumble rap (often used to describe "emo rap" and "SoundCloud rap"6) is a loosely defined7 microgenre8 of hip hop that largely spread on the online audio distribution platform SoundCloud in the 2010s.9 The term implies a mumbling or unclear vocal delivery by artists in contrast to more traditionally direct styles of rapping, and may generally refer to rappers who do not put typical emphasis on lyricism.
Not to be confused with Trap music (EDM).
"SoundCloud rap" redirects here. For the related genre also called "SoundCloud rap", see Emo rap.
For the Belly mixtape, see Mumble Rap (mixtape).
Quick Facts: Other names, Stylistic origins …
Some have criticized the term as inaccurate or as a pejorative used to degrade younger rappers,1011 although some artists have reclaimed the term.12 Others have defended the style as a new phase in the evolution of the genre.

Originally a sub-genre of Rap, evolving into its own genre due to its distinction of appeal amongst Rap fans. Early influence includes Lil Wayne as his popularity boomed, and could explain the common use of "Lil" as a suffix and the area credited with its origin. Heavily embraced by the huge major lables and music industry because it represents success of their long term agenda intent in harming minority communities and interest in "critical thinking", extracting detrimental qualities from the wide range of artistic expression represented in Rap, combined into a powerful covert weapon of self destruction. Requiring minimal to no effort for its composition, without the typical defining elements of Rap, such as rhyming or originality. Such as using the same word to rhyme with itself, the N word being a popular favorite to meet the inherent "rhyming" aspect of Rap. Mumble is a kind of encryption that mostly only younger generations can decipher and gives them an identity since our education system has utterly failed. Critisism only strengthens its quest for authenticity by giving it a sense of defiance or value in progressive change. Instinct to be original takes a path of further extremes.. A symbol of achievement for the ruling narcissists a.k.a. illuminate, fully supported and funded under bad intentions to shape society and never be provably traced back to their cause.
John: "Hey your buddy Bob seems like a really smart dude, I'm considering him for the position."
Rob: "Yeah, he is super smart, but he listens to Mumble Rap and prefers to be called 'Lil Johnny Boy"
Bob: "Damn, thanks for the heads up, don't get me wrong, i love hip hop, but i really dont want to hear that mumble crap while I'm working.
