But like I said before love is not selfish, if you truly love someone you would want them to be happy even at your own expense.

Even if it meant being skinned alive and having salt dumped over you right after.
Even if it meant having your limbs chopped of with a blunt axe.
Even if it meant being tortured to death.
Even if it meant them hating you.

I loved him, but I knew I was only a burden keeping him from living his best life. So I left, because he didn’t want me, he wanted me to leave, it made him happy to have me out of his life. So I left his life, so he could be happy even though it was killing me.

Being in love is as if you’re on top of the world. All you do is think about them, you daydream, wish, remember, and every moment with them is like a prized possession.
