Jordan Peterson's ASSERTION is demonstrably false. Their level of competence likely varies. Their level of confidence is independent of their pursuit. Amd doesn't the Dunning Kruger effect demonstrate an inverse correlation between confidence and competence? If their not competence isn't it likely that their confidence would be high? And the issue exploding into nebulous plume of semantics regarding what constitutes 'competence and confidence' for example if you look at Leonardo Decaprio he's one of the most competent actors of all time. Clearly pursuing short term mating. 4 to 5 years max. Jordan peterson believes it takes at least to years to even get to know a person and he also purports to believe that the only true consent is marriage.
Hym "So, men pursuing short term relationships AT THE VERY LEAST are unlikely to have the attributes ascribed by Jordan Peterson. If you look at professions with a high volume of groupies you see both a high level of competence and excessive short term copulation (i.e. Athletes, Musicians, Actors, ect). It just isn't the case. It's literally just a true scottsman project on to people who are fucking all of the women while ingoring entirely the women's agency in short term mating."

An on-again, off-again relationship between two people that are dating. The couple will break up for usually very trivial/minor reasons and get back together numerous times. During this process they normally make sure to tell all of their friends and anyone else who will listen every step of the way to the point of being extremely annoying and insufferable.
“My friend Franklin and his girlfriend Tammy have the most pathetic street hockey relationship I have ever seen in my life. One minute they are happy in love and the next there are tears and crying and hatred and bitterness as they part ways for the umpteenth time. This happens about every week or two.”

The different stages of a relationship. A method of predicting what stage a relationship is at, or for determining when a relationship will form, end etc.
These stages are always changing and new stages are always emerging, therefore the stages include but are not limited to:
- Genesis Stage
- Midpoint Stage
- Advancement Stage
- Turbulence Stage
- Decline Stage

Professor Love Dickinanus: I knew they would break up, I predicted it!
Colleague: How? How did you know that they would break up around this time?
Professor Love Dickinanus: I noticed tension between them when they started dating, so I used my method called the Stages of a Relationship to determine when their relationship would cease to exist.

A constant on and off again relationship
by Power Company July 20, 2024

A relationship in one or more people recognizes there is a problem yet simultaneously are in denial at it. This is more common occurrence in heterosexual relationship with a kid/s involved. Sometimes the chick is not yet prego in these relationship.
Why this happen because peeps don't like them self , they afriad they are not wanted , they want to look good and whole bunch of other things. If kids involved , then there is fear of a broken family or they be a bad parent.
A Whole bunch of stuff involved in these relationships. People can be nice and those nice things can be screwed up. Dysfunctional is not just yelling and hitting. It comes to you when someone is nice to you to get what they want .It comes off looking like normal things.
Sadly divorce or breaks up help show the problems sometimes.

It's simple enough, if you seal up the leaks, your relationship will be airtight again, it wont be open. If your landlord or counselor or outside person died, you'd have nobody to seal the leaks but you and your other half. Everything happens for a reason, you're with somebody for a reason, you meet somebody for a reason, it's not a bunch of dumb luck or bad luck.
Not everything needs to be loosened in life, things fall apart that way. An open relationship is one of them.

Something you clearly don't have if you're looking this up, but I'll tell you. It's something that can either, a) be the best thing in your life involving you and somebody else, or b) put you in crippling depression when it doesn't work out.
One guy, (to himself): I wish I had a relationship with somebody else.
Some random guy: That's never going to happen.
