Living is risky to yourself and others, so is driving a car and many other things people do every day. Life is worth losing, especially since you don't have much choice as to whether you will die or not. It should be your choice whether you spend the rest of your years behind a mask taking orders, or making your own orders for yourself, and trusting in yourself enough to keep going. Though driving a car is hazardous to yourself and others, most people still don't kill themselves or anyone else in an auto accident even once in their lifetime. Accidents might be one of the leading causes of death, but there are still many times more drivers on the road that make it home every night to see their families.
Life is risky, so pausing it or stopping it won't prevent or cure death, you are already on your way there like everyone else alive, everyone that ever was alive in the past, and everyone that ever will be alive. People hundreds of years ago once thought they were the future, making the world a better place and look how fucked up it is today with all that they did thinking they would make it better. Humans are the only species arrogant enough to think they could make the world better than it already is, since even if there was a place like paradise, humans would still try to change it or make it a better place (than it was made to be long before they were there).
