Call of Duty Infinite Loop

When you are playing Call of Duty, and you have to do something else, like school or work, and you tell yourself "One more match" after every match, but always find an excuse to play another, and another, and another, etc. Time loses all meaning while in this loop.
THE CALL OF DUTY INFINITE LOOP:

Man, I need to go to work. But I didn't do so good that

match, just one more then I'm done...

====TEN MINUTES LATER====

Alright! 33-4! I'm on a roll, can't stop now!!!

====TEN MINUTES LATER====

Damn, team lost that time. Gotta avenge that loss!

====TEN MINUTES LATER====

Ok...that's it, time to go to wo...oh, a party invite....maybe just one more match.....

Off-Duty Ninja

A ninja who is not currently working and is now in the guise of a civillian.
When a bank robber pointed his gun at me, he had no idea i was an off-duty ninja. He realizied later, though, when I had kicked his ass.

Break-Up Duty

When you are given the task of hanging out with a friend right after a break-up to get their mind off of things.

Light Duty

What a member of the armed forces goes on, or becomes when they no longer feel the need for physical training. This is usually typical of a substandard individual, or 'turd' as they may be called from time to time. At times, some of these 'light duties' have a legitimate reason for not participating in physical training, however, most light duties will make themselves known at the most opportune time, ie, before a physical fitness test, or Company run. They usually will claim an ailment that is hard to diagnose, ie, back pain, knee pain, and the ultimate.. shin splints.
Guy #1: Man I really don't wanna run tomorrow. My favorite singer Adam Lambert is gonna be singing on Logo, and running will interfere with my duties as the Elton John Fan Club President.

Guy #2: No problem! Just go on Light Duty! That way, we can watch Adam Lambert all night long! Wanna make out?

Call of Duty syndrome

A term coined to describe the recent trend of games and formerly respected gaming series' to be dumbed down to appeal to the larger, absent minded CoD base. Symptoms include short, repetitive gameplay, linear levels, simple controls and an average gamer age of 12. Recent examples include Ace Combat: Assault Horizon and (soon to be) Mass Effect 3.
"The new Ace Combat game has a serious case of Call of Duty syndrome"
