Simul txt

When one purposfully simutaneously text messages multiple friends on one text message and makes the message look as though it was only intended for one recipient.
An often very annoying occurance especially if your you are with a friend and you both just got the same message but on you each your phones.

Friend1: "Hey Will wants to know what Im up to tonight" Friend2: "That fucker, I just got the exact same message" Friend1: "well I guess his bitch ass is simul txt-ing again"

When a txting conversation reaches the point where all that is said is, "Ya" or "Cool".

Steve: "Hey dude let's go to the movies 2nite!"

Joe: "Ok that sounds great!"

excuses.txt

In some competitive online games (such as Quake III), used to be a snarky remark addressed to opponents who would keep coming up with explanations as to why they lost a round, insinuating that the explanation provided was just a made-up excuse picked from an imaginary text file filled with random excuses (i.e. `excuses.txt`).

Ultimately, some players turned this proverbial `excuses.txt`into reality by implementing a script that would automatically pick a random line from such a file on disk, and send it to their opponent as a chat message whenever the player was fragged in the game.

(A loses, B wins the round.)

A: No fair, my mouse ran off the pad!
B: Yeah, sure... excuses.txt.
