Noob

A compliment, used almost compltely in the gaming community. When someone calls somebody else a noob, they are telling them that they have a life because noob means someone who is not very good at the game that they are playing.

This is often mistaken as an insult by people who don't play any sports.

Noob

A noob(or an n00b) is a person that really sucks at games, they usually do nothing but keep on dying. They never listen to anyone and accuse pros to hackers.

Noob spawns and picked up an M134
Noob: Haha, a minigun! I must win this time!
Pro: Hey that's mine!
Noob: Daguosduounucyboruocqrcewq... I will kill everyone!
Pro picked up an AWM-S
Pro: NOOB, GIVE ME THE M134!
Noob: No...(Noob died to the Pro.)

Noob

There is a LARGE difference between a NOOB/N00b and newb. A newb is short for newbie and is a person who is new to a game and is typically not skilled at the game, though they are willing to learn and get good. A n00b is someone who thinks they're awesome or MLG at a game but aren't or just suck regardless of exp. They also tend to speak fluent "L33T" and have blatant disrespect for people of authority or people with real skill and call them haxors.

Everyone was a newb once but never become a noob, you'll have no friends/partner/life
